Infographics

My infographic design is based on the data that I gather through research and personal interviews. The process of translating data to visualization is one of the most interesting processes for me as a designer.

Minorities Are Left Behind!

Minorities Are Left Behind!, visualizes and compares the graduation rate in the United States vs Maryland, and between the minority groups.
I conducted the research and interviews to gather data and translated the data to visualization for this infographic. I designed this infographic after rigorous research and interviews with Public Information Officer at Maryland’s Montgomery County public schools, and the Counselor at Walter Johnson High School in Montgomery County, Maryland. Other sources are listed in the infographic.

Divorce vs Marriage Rate in Iran, an Infographic Poster

This infographic compares the rate of marriage vs divorce rates in a ten-year time span in Iran.
The first image breaks down the rate by year and reported provinces. The second and third sections specify the number of either divorces or marriages based on each province in one year. The size of the province, pictured in circles, correlates with the number of the reported marriages or divorces, the bigger the number, the bigger the size of the province.
The poster was designed for an extra-large print of 3 feet in width, hence the liberty of using the smaller yet readable size font.
